Marquelle’s career started as an Assistant Buyer for Hugo Boss (NYC), where he was brought on as a luxury industry expert as the company transitioned from a premium company to a luxury one. He was then recruited to move to Doha, Qatar to help open the country’s largest department store: Galeries Lafayette Doha. Prior to leaving the Middle East, Marquelle was tapped to lead the first international expansion for the luxury Turkish brand, VAKKO, into Qatar.

Upon moving back to the United States, Marquelle was recruited back to Hugo Boss to oversee Men’s Wearing Occasions for the United States, Mexico, Canada, Brazil and e-Commerce. Shortly after, he was afforded the opportunity to head up the Men’s Ready-to-Wear strategy for the United States and Canada for GUCCI. Prior to focusing on ATELIER LENORA full time, Marquelle was the Head of Partner Success and Special Projects at SHOWFIELDS.
